Duggees Daffodil Hunt

Yesterday Dug went on a Daffodil hunt. Dug was amazed at how many different types of daffodil he found, he decided to do some research on the internet. Dug found that the scientific name for daffodil is Narcissis and there are over 13,000 different daffodil varieties in the world, Wow! Daffodils were originally brought to Britain by the Romans in the 5th Century.

Dug found lots of different colours of daffodil flowers on his walk, included, yellow, orange, cream, and white. Some had scent and some didn’t. Dug really liked the ones that smelt nice.

Dug was very tired after all the walking so needed a little nap 😴 😊
