We find ourselves in strange times, socially distancing and isolating! We remain open currently in line with guidance from the Government. We support children with EHCP's and who are vulnerable and all of our learners are welcome to attend as usual if they are well and they/or their families have no symptoms of the virus. We pay particular attention to hand hygiene and clean everything constantly. Being outdoors allows us to socially distance whilst still having fun!
We close on 27th March which was our planned closure date for Easter. We are due to reopen on Monday 20th April but will need to update everyone again on what we are able to provide depending on the guidance at that time.
If we are unable to provide face to face learning then our Virtual Sessions will go live and for those learners who continue to keep a place with us will be given a log in to access daily virtual sessions. We have also got a massive range of activities, resources, videos and worksheets for our learners. Those taking vocational qualifications will be supported to continue this work with their tutors linking with them regularly. We will still all be working to support you all to learn.
Please continue to support our service as without you all we will not still be able to keep the service going particularly if this is a long closure. We dearly hope to keep being able to deliver face to face but the health of our staff, learners and their families is of paramount importance and we can continue to link with our learner and have fun learning together thanks to the technological age that we live in!
Please also note that our Lottery Funded Animals and Outdoors Group for people living with dementia is also postponed but we will be phoning our group members weekly and being available to go and help them out as needed with shopping or anything else they need help with whilst isolated!
