Work Placements and Visitors
We are sorry that we are unable to offer work experience placements or professional visits as part of a course. We also cannot accept visitors to observe sessions unless they are working with a specific learner and we have authorised this. This is to ensure we safeguard our learners and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Volunteers - The National Lottery Community Fund project:
"Animals and Outdoors Group - for people living with dementia"
We have occasional volunteer vacancies to assist with our 3 year National Lottery Community Fund project called ":Animals and Outdoors" which offers animal interactions and outdoor activity groups to people with dementia. We are looking for people willing to offer a regular commitment for a few hours a week on a Friday. - on a rota basis. There will be training given prior to this starting.
We need volunteers who can help with physically demanding projects outdoors e.g horticulture, animal care, maintenance, gardening work etc. We also need volunteers who can help with managing and handling the animal interactions and helping with social activities, craft activities and refreshments. Help with administration of the project would also be welcome. We have fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities and a friendly, enthusiastic team as well as some wonderful animals. Full training will be given.
All volunteers will be interviewed and the positions are subject to a DBS check which we will organise.
